It seems when you start a nursing you get an overwhelming amount of advice on what to do, what not to do, how to get a good latch, etc. but what nobody told me about nursing was what happens to your boobs when you stop nursing! Hello!! Can you say deflated saggy remains of what used to be your boobs! Am I right?! On top of that, it’s extremely hard to find a good fitting bra now that your girls are a bit less…(ahem!) voluptuous. Today I am partnering with ThirdLove to share my experience with their amazing bras that help you get the perfect fit for every stage of motherhood!

Can you believe that it is already fall and that Thanksgiving is right around the corner? This is without a doubt my favorite time of year! The past couple of years I have hosted Thanksgiving dinner for our whole family, and when I say our whole family, I mean everyone from my family and my husband’s family all around one table! I absolutely love hosting Thanksgiving! There is just something so special about gathering everyone together and being able to look around the table at the many blessings in your life. I wanted to put together a Guide to Farmhouse Style Thanksgiving Entertaining to help you get ready for entertaining guests this Thanksgiving.
It’s that time of year again where I am beginning to go through the boys closets and get them ready for the next season. You would think having two boys would be a good thing in terms of hand-me-downs, however, my second son somehow times things just right to where most of the clothes we already have in his size are not seasonally appropriate. *sigh* Every season I try to take advantage of sales, as well as consignment sales to outfit our boys!
Up until last summer I NEVER drank coffee. What?! That’s right, I spent 26 years of my life without coffee. But after having my second child I decided to start trying to drink coffee because ya’ll, I was exhausted! And well as I’m sure you probably guessed, that was the beginning to what will now be a long and happy relationship.
When my second child was only a few months old we realized that, yet again, we had a child with a severe intolerance to dairy and possibly soy. This intolerance is known as MSPI (I will be writing a post about our experiences with MSPI soon). Long story short, I had to cut out all dairy and soy from my diet while breastfeeding. So I began trying to find little ways to treat myself in an effort to stay sane on such a restrictive diet. Enter dairy-free cold brew iced coffee!
Wow! It feels like FOREVER since I got to sit down and write a blog post for you all. In reality it has only been a little over a week but in blogging years that’s an eternity. I would give you all the excuses for why I have been MIA but I will just give you the biggest one: my computer CRASHED! We are taking dead as a door nail, no pulse, call the genius bar because this thing is a goner! It was a little touch-and-go there for a few days not knowing if I could get all my precious files off of it but alas we were able to recover everything. Deep sigh of relief! Lesson learned my friends, BACK YOUR STUFF UP!
Now that I am up and running again, I am finally sharing my tutorial for how I made my “As For Me and My House” farmhouse sign that I have been showing off on my Instagram feed. It is so easy using my SVG cut files! If you missed the big news, I have opened an Etsy shop! I will be adding more cut files and other printables, so make sure you are subscribed to my email list so you are the first to know about new products!
