Hey all! I’m so sorry that I have been silent for the last couple weeks, but I’M BACK with exciting news to share! I have officially become a blog contributor for Crystal over at The Weathered Fox!! This is such a fun opportunity that I am overjoyed to be a part of! With that said, check out how I created a patriotic tablescape inspired by the dining room from the Beanstalk Bungalow on Fixer Upper season 3.

If you saw the reveal of our Modern Farmhouse Laundry Room last week that we were renovating as a part of the One Room Challenge you may have seen this jar of seemingly antique clothespins. What if I told you they were brand spankin’ new?! Say what?! That’s right, I bought them brand new from Walmart and Amazon. I had gone junkin’ trying to find the real deal, but the ones I came across were way out of my price range for simple jar filler (one store wanted $30 for a bag of them, nope!) Today, I’m going to let you in on a little secret: how to antique new clothespins! (Hint – you probably drink the stuff every morning!)
Over the past six weeks we have been working on renovating our laundry room through the One Room Challenge hosted by Calling it Home and House Beautiful, to create a space that it more efficient and aesthetically pleasing. We have moved plumbing, added molding, painted every surface of this room and I am happy to say that the work is finally complet! Hooray!! I cannot WAIT to show you all our modern farmhouse laundry room reveal! It is GORGEOUS! But before I do that, let’s take a look back.
Here we are, week 4! I can’t believe we only have two weeks left before the big reveal of our modern farmhouse laundry room!! That fact brings me both excitement, and terror! This past weekend we were yet again out of town (Note to self: we have got to stop traveling during ORC!) so our progress has been limited but we still have several items to check off for this week!
This month I am participating in the Spring Bliss Bash blog party! I have teamed up with 16 other bloggers/creatives who will be sharing their favorite spring projects over at Rocky Mountain Bliss all month long. There have been so many wonderful spring craft posts already such as this burlap bunny banner, DIY barnwood frame, and chalkboard mugs!
